Police look for witnesses after pedestrian hit by car in Burlington

BURLINGTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com/AP) - Police are looking for the public's help after a pedestrian was apparently struck and killed in an apparent hit-and-run on an I-95 ramp in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Police say they received a report of a body lying in the road on the Winn Street ramp onto I-95 northbound just after 9 p.m. on Saturday.

On Monday, the Middlesex County District Attorney's office identified the person killed as Cliserio Cordova Ferral, 51, of Louisiana.

The DA's office believes that a dark-colored truck pulling a trailer was in the area at the time of the crash and are looking to speak with the truck's driver as a potential witness.

An investigation is continuing and police are asking for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information on the accident can call the Danvers State Police Barracks at 978-538-6161.
