BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Boston are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for an indecent assault and battery in South Boston.
The alleged assault occurred in the area of Athens and Dorchester streets at about 12:45 a.m. Monday, police said.
The victim told police she was approached by the suspect from behind and indecently assaulted. The suspect then fled.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Boston Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit at 617-343-4400.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5'11' tall with a heavy build and large stomach. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a t-shirt.
