Police in NH search for suspect in Rite Aid robbery

MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Manchester, N.H. are searching for a male suspect accused of robbing a Rite Aid on Elm Street Monday morning.

Officers responded to the Rite Aid at 1631 Elm St. at about 6:20 a.m. for a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, the clerk told police the suspect entered the store and approached the registers demanding money. The suspect allegedly removed an undisclosed amount of cash from one register and attempted to grab some from a second register before fleeing on foot toward Pennacook Street.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'10" to 5'11" tall with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a grey Jansport backpack. He also had a blue bandana covering his face and wore sunglasses.

No weapon was shown during the alleged robbery.
