BOSTON — Police have identified the man they believe is responsible for a double shooting last week in east Boston.
Rogelio Alvarado, 21, last resided in the neighborhood where the shooting occurred and police have an arrest warrant to charge him with armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and other firearm violations.
Police say Alvarado should be considered armed and dangerous.

The shooting occurred Tuesday afternoon inside the Maverick Square T station. Police say it began as an argument and as Alvarado was leaving the train he fired several shots and hit one person on the train and one person on the platform.
