Police find nothing, clear scene after bomb threat at Suffolk University

BOSTON — Police in Boston investigated after someone emailed a bomb threat to a Suffolk University building, according to a university spokesperson.

Boston Police and Suffolk University Police responded early Tuesday evening, and the building in the area of 8 Ashburton Place was temporarily evacuated.

Police searched the building, and the university said nothing had been found as of 7:30 p.m., leading to the scene being cleared.

The threat comes hours after police chased a suspect who was seen with a gun at Boston University Tuesday afternoon.
