HINGHAM, Mass. — Police along the South Shore are on the lookout for three motorcyclists who fled after being caught driving recklessly.

The Hingham Police Department released dashcam footage of a short chase with one motorcyclist who they were able to eventually catch.

Kenny Wang was driving his Ducati recklessly, police said, and when an officer spotted him he tried to get away.

“They are swerving within the lanes, crossing 2 lanes and they are putting themselves in serious harm,” Hingham Police Sgt. Steven Dearth said.

It happened Wednesday night in the area of Route 3A and Route 228 in Hingham. Police say the four motorcyclists were riding in a pack.

Police had two chases with bikers in just a matter of minutes.

“It doesn't take long for these motorcycles to increase the speed. They can go from 0-80 faster than a car. These pursuits are dangerous,” Dearth said. “One of them went around the cruiser, and drove away and that was a brief pursuit into Cohasset and then it was called off. The speeds were unsafe”

The suspects were going well over 80 miles per hour, and police say, they were endangering everyone around them.

“We just want people to drive safe.”

Police confiscated a GoPro Wong was wearing as evidence, and they’re asking for help finding the other three riders.
