Police: 3 kids were asked about gang affiliation, robbed

WORCESTER, Mass. — Three kids were robbed of phones and sneakers while sitting on a porch in Worcester Wednesday, according to police.

Worcester police say four men approached the three juveniles and asked them what gang they were affiliated with. When the kids said they weren't in a gang, the men allegedly showed them the handle of a gun and told them to give up their "valuables."

Police say one man was an Asian male with a dark colored sweatshirt, one was described as a Hispanic male with a dark colored sweatshirt, but police could not provide a description of the other two.

No one was injured, police say.
