Please help find stuffed dog lost during Make-A-Wish trip to Boston

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police are asking for the public's help locating a stuffed dog that was recently lost during a 10-year-old boy's Make-A-Wish trip to Boston.

Courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Aiden Ocker and his family were in Boston on Sept. 10 to attend a baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees at Fenway Park.

However, two days before the Sept. 12 game, Aiden's condition worsened and, after being transported to Children's Hospital for treatment, Aiden's wish of seeing a baseball game at Fenway Park went unfulfilled.

On the evening of Sept. 10, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 12 a.m., Aiden's mother and 13-year-old sister Addison took a cab, possibly Metro Cab, from the Back Bay Hotel to Children's Hospital.

On the night of the game, Aiden was airlifted back to his home in California where he passed away two days later.

Upon exiting the cab, Aiden's sister, Addison, inadvertently left behind her stuffed dog, Rocco.

Rocco and Addison have been inseparable for the past 10 years, and the Boston Police Department hopes to reunite the pair.

Anyone who has seen or knows the whereabouts of Rocco, please contact the Boston Police Department's Hackney Carriage Unit at (617) 343-4475, the Boston Police Department's Office of Public Information at (617) 343-4520 or email Claire Nowlan at missclaire@verizon.net.
