PLAINVILLE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The family whose home became engulfed in flames after a plane crashed into it is searching for a cat that went missing in the fire.
The plane crashed into the home on Bridle Path at around 5:45 p.m. on June 28. Firefighters from 10 communities responded to the scene to help with the multi-alarm blaze. The home suffered heavy damage, and it was a difficult fire to fight, officials said, due to the lack of fire hydrants on the street.
A family of four people, Carol and Aaron Rice and their two sons, were inside the home at the time of the crash, and all occupants were able to get out safely. The three passengers of the plane died in the crash.
