BOSTON — Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Transit Police are investigating after a person was hit by an MBTA bus and later died.
The crash happened around 10:25 p.m. Thursday in the area of Mass. Ave. and Southhampton Street.
Boston Police say the pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said the person died Friday morning.
