NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Officials say a person has died after being hit by a train Tuesday night.
Transit police were called to Sutton Street Crossing just after 11:15 p.m. for a report of a person hit by a train.
The man was hit by a Haverhill Line MBTA Commuter Rail train and has since died of his injuries.
His age and identity has not been released.
The incident is still under investigation.
