BOSTON — Pauli's North End is offering a helping hand to federal government employees Monday.

The long-time North End eatery is offering a free sandwich, dinner or salad under $10 for free from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. -- but only during that time.

Federal government employees missed out on a paycheck last week because of the shutdown in Washington.

That means some are having to take up extra jobs or find another way to make ends meet until President Trump can come to an agreement with congress.

In the meantime, Pauli's if offering a little reprieve for government workers.
