BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Despite traffic gridlock along snow-choked streets Tuesday afternoon and evening, workers were preparing the city into the night for Wednesday's Super Bowl victory parade for the New England Patriots.
The Super Bowl Victory Parade will kick off outside the Hynes Convention Center Wednesday at 11 a.m. and will end at City Hall. The parade is expected to last between and hour and 90 minutes.
The players will be carried by Boston's beloved Duck Boats, but will not stop along the route or at City Hall once they reach their final destination.
As for the weather, FOX 25 meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz said there won't be any snow falling to worry about, but temperatures will be chilly.
"It will be dry for the Patriots parade and temperatures will rise through the 20s and top out in the 30s in the afternoon," he said.
Parking restrictions are in place throughout the city starting midnight Wednesday. Click here to see a full list of streets with parking bans for the parade.
City officials are encouraging people who are planning to attend to take public transportation into the city.
Boston hasn't held a Super Bowl victory parade in 10 years. Back in 2005, more than a million people lined the streets on a very chilly Tuesday morning.
