Parents of twins hand out goodie bags to prepare passengers for toddlers' first flight

For many travelers, flying on a plane with young, crying children isn't ideal. So one set of parents on a flight from Newark Liberty Airport to Orlando planned ahead

She said hesitant travelers avoided the section of seats around the parents and the children, but eventually, they were filled.

"Our names are Ashley & Abby," the note began. "We're twins, we just turned 18 months old and this is our first time on an airplane! We are heading to (Florida) to see Grandma & Grandpa, and Mommy & Daddy said something about a mouse. We'll try to keep our cool, but in case we decide to get crazy, we've provided you a sweet treat and some earplugs for your enjoyment. Thank you for understanding and enjoy your flight!"

Passenger Christina Galese submitted a photo of the bag and note to Love What Matters, which posted the photo and story on its Facebook page.

"For the record, the twins were the most adorable and well-behaved little girls ever," Galese said. "I never had to reach for the ear plugs once -- the only time I opened the bag was to have a piece of chocolate."
