Old Natick High School to be demolished

NATICK (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Out with the old and in with the new. Monday, Natick High School will be razed to make room for a parking lot and new playing fields.

A former student bought rights to sit in the control seat of the wrecking ball when it takes its first swing at the building. His $1,800 bid will go to charity.

The new Natick High School is scheduled to open sometime in August just before classes are back in session.

The current high school has sat there for 58 years. Crews will start knocking it down sometime after 10 a.m.
