SUDBURY, Mass. — Police are investigating a break-in and fire at a home in Sudbury.
Firefighters responded to 4 Brooks Rd. around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday for a fire; when checking to see if there were people inside the home, an officer noticed signs of a break-in.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and an investigation into the possible break-in was confirmed.
The fire is being jointly investigated by the Sudbury Police and Fire Departments, with the Sudbury Arson Investigation Team, and State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
The cause of the origin of the fire is still under investigation. Police ask that anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area to contact Sudbury Detectives at 978-443-1042.
