NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — A Northborough man says someone keeps stealing his Trump sign from his front yard and he has started taking matters into his own hands.

Jeff Antone says he's so sick of people stealing his Trump sign from his yard that he put a camera up in a tree to catch people in the act.

Antone shared a surveillance photo with FOX25's Stephanie Coueignoux showing a man with glasses walking up to the sign. Antone says seconds later the man put the sign in his car and drove off. Antone says it's one of six times someone has stolen his Trump sign.

"I think it's a sad sign of the times," Antone said. "I think it's what we have come to because we've become so politically correct."

Antone says he replaced the Trump sign in his front yard, only to have that one stolen Wednesday. But this time, he says he was able to run outside and catch the 18-year-old by the arm. When Antone asked why he stole the sign, the man told him he doesn't support Trump.

"Because he's racist," Antone said. "When I looked at him, I said, 'why did you say he's racist?"

Antone decided not to press charges, Hoping the man learns his lesson. He says he'll be ready for anyone else who tries to steal his signs.

"I would love to catch them out there and ask them, 'what are you doing?' I like to talk with people who have a different opinion than me," Antone said.

Each sing costs about $20, so Jeff has already spent $100 replacing them. But he says he's not going to let that stop him, and he'll keep replacing them whenever one is stolen.
