EXETER, NH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) The Board of Mental Health has suspended the license of a 38-year-old clinical psychologist from New Hampshire amid allegations of prostitution and drug possession.
Alexander Marino of Portsmouth was arrested on charges of prostitution and possession of controlled drugs on Aug. 7 after he was accused of running a prostitution ring out of his apartment, reports the Exeter Patch.
Investigators allege that Marino began the operation in October 2011.
Members of the Board of Mental Health will decide on Aug. 27 whether or not Marino's license will remain suspended during the course of the police investigation. Alexander Marino practiced clinical psychology in Exeter and Plymouth.
