MANCHESTER, N.H. — The winner of the New Hampshire Democratic primary, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders finished off the day with a strong address to supporters at his Manchester, N.H. headquarters.
Earlier in the day, his campaign manager told Boston 25 News Anchor Chris Flanagan on Tuesday afternoon they were cautiously optimistic about what the results tonight could bring.

“Bernie’s gonna win,” said Genara Clay, a voter in Derry, N.H. “I canvass for Bernie every weekend. He’s gonna take it, no doubt. I think everyone is going to be amped up and ready to see Bernie, we know that he has the people, we know he has the volunteers, we know he has the money."
Sanders thanked his supporters, his team and all of those who went out and knocked on doors and made calls on his behalf.
