More than a dozen homes vandalized overnight in Salem, N.H.

SALEM, N.H. — Vandals in Salem, New Hampshire have spray painted more than a dozen homes for the second time in just a few months. The vandals made obscene drawings on several homes and even wrote “we’re back” on one.

FOX25’s Robert Goulston spoke to homeowners and police officers about the vandalism and found a community business that is backing a $1,000 reward to help catch the vandals.

Homeowner Ted Shpak said, "It's kinda annoying, concerning. The graffiti on the garage door is ridiculous. To be honest I hope they get caught."

At least a dozen homes were hit and police are expecting more reports as people find the damage.

At one home it was the mailbox, the light pole and the garage. Some of the vandalism is too obscene to show, but what has the area homeowners even more furious is that this is second round of damage. Thirty homes were hit back in August.

"Last time it got hit they spray painted it red, this time I guess they're getting creative they used black," Shpak said.

The vandals even made it clear that they'd been there before, writing the words, "we're back" on garages and mailboxes.

Police are now offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction thanks to a business owner who donated the money. Anyone with information is urged to call them.
