Minimum security inmate walks away from transitional housing in NH

CONCORD, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A minimum security inmate walked away from transitional housing in Concord, N.H. Friday.

At about 8 a.m., Jeremy Neil Slack, 37, of Concord left the North End Transitional Housing Unit to go to work and did not return when he was supposed to at 12:40 p.m. He was placed on walkaway status at 2 p.m., officials say.

Slack is described as a white male who is about 6 feet tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has brown hair; blue eyes; and multiple tattoos on his right arm, right shoulder and left arm.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call their local police department or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.

He was convicted for possession of controlled drugs (cocaine) and received a sentence of five years minimum to 15 years maximum. He was also convicted of theft by misapplication and received a sentence of three years minimum to seven years maximum with one year of his minimum suspended with 109 days of pre-trial detainment credited to his sentence, officials say.
