MILFORD, Mass. — A Middle School student in Milford is accused of threatening his classmates including when specific threat where he allegedly told a girl he was going to rape her.
The victim's mom spoke exclusively to FOX25 and said those threats were made inside of a classroom at Stacy Middle school.
“He told my daughter at school that he was going to rape her,” the mother said.
She called 911 when her daughter got home from school Monday and police say they are taking those threats seriously and the boy has just been charged.
The worried mom did not want to show her face because of what her 11-year-old daughter just went through.
“When she was putting away her chrome book, her laptop, he walked up behind her and said ‘I'm going to rape you,’” she said.
The boy was removed from the classroom and he has now been charged with threatening to commit a crime and disrupting school assembly.
“She turned around and said are you talking to me. He said yes and walked away. And two other girls came forward and he said he would stab them as well,” the girl’s mother said.
According to her mother, the girl barely knows the boy, but they have two classes together.
“He was just moved in from another class for threatening another girl physically harm her as well,” the mother told FOX25.
Her 11-year-old daughter was so scared, she didn't want to go to school today. The families involved want the boy to go for counseling.
“I feel bad for the boy. He must have some type of difficult to get home,” the girl’s mother said.
Investigators say the boy never touched the girls and this is still a very active investigation. It's unclear when the boy will be in court.
