Mendon boy says he was approached by man in gray car

MENDON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- It's the car that's been described by local police all over our area. A gray sedan, apparently approaching kids. We've covered cases in several communities already, but Friday night our Jim Morelli spoke with a young boy that was approached by the car.

The boy says he watched the car pull up next to him while he was on a play date. The car rolled to a stop and then the driver rolled down his window, the young boy said.

"It's kind freaky that happened to me, out of everybody," he said.

He then ran away and found a friend when the man stopped his car, but for a moment he thought about snapping a quick picture of the guy.

"I'd like to be the hero, but I know I shouldn't," he said.

The boy's mom is worried and "hopes they figure out who it is."
