MEDWAY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The Medway Board of Health recently voted to recommend putting signs at synthetic fields in town, warning of their potential dangers.
Research shows the turf, which is made up of miniscule black rubber pellets, can hold heat and become dangerous during mid-afternoon hours.
The exact wording of the signs isn’t clear, but they will warn of excessive heat.
