MCR helps moose after swim through Quabbin Reservoir

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A moose was on the loose at Quabbin Reservoir this week, but thanks to help from MassWildlife.

Environmental police told the Worcester Telegram they got a call Tuesday morning about the moose, and that it appeared to be trapped.

“I’ve been doing this for 31 years and I’ve never seen anything like it,” Ralph Taylor, district manager of MassWildlife, said.

But the moose wasn't trapped, he was cooling off on the 90-degree day for more than 90 minutes while responders worked to corral him out of the water.
