LEOMINSTER, Mass. — An investigation is underway in Leominster to try and determine what sparked a massive blaze that destroyed a home.

The fire was reported on Page Avenue around 10 p.m. Monday.

No injuries have been reported.

Leominster firefighters were kept busy Monday. During the afternoon they were called to a home on Douglas Avenue to investigate reports of a fire.

That blaze broke out around 1:15 p.m. on a second floor back porch.

That was the third time firefighters were called to that home.

Neighbors said they awoke to flames coming from the home around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The Fitchburg Sentinel spoke to someone who lives there.

She said no one was home at the time because she and her fiance have been staying with friends and relatives for several weeks.

She said she returned home from work one day to find her futon on fire.

No one was injured in any of those fires.
