Mass State Police increases security at State House, Logan

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- After hearing of the active terrorist attacks in Paris, France, Massachusetts State Police took several actions to increase safety around the state.

Police note that there is no intelligence that suggests there are specific threats to Massachusetts.

State Police are increasing security around the State House and at Logan Airport. All on-duty troopers have also been notified of the attacks and are directed to be aware of potential suspicious activity.

The Massachusetts State Police and our federal partners in the Joint Terrorism Task Force and at the Commonwealth Fusion Center continue to monitor intelligence to ensure safety. State Police also said their thoughts are with French law enforcement as they work to end the ongoing threat.
