A vote has been set for Thursday on two final licenses for independent marijuana testing laboratories.
This is one of the final steps needed before recreational marijuana sales begin in Massachusetts.
When those licenses were approved two weeks ago, there were still several other things that needed to happen to start sales including final inspections of the stores.
Two retail shops, one in Leicester and one in Northampton, have already been granted final approval.

CDX Analytics and MCR Labs are both up for final approval of product testing licenses at the meeting. Cannabis can’t be sold at retail until it has been tested and cleared by the labs.
Provisional licenses are also up for a vote for three more retailers, three cultivators and two product manufacturers.
