The Department of Public Works in Manchester, New Hampshire is working to fix a large water main break on Mammoth Road.
Manchester Police responded at 4:15 am on Wednesday.
Residents in the area called the Department of Public Works to report flooding and loss of water pressure.
Several streets will be closed so crews can make the necessary repairs.
According to a member of Manchester DPW, about five percent to ten percent of the town is without water.
Mayor Joyce Craig announced that Southside Jewett, Memorial and Hallsville schools will be closed due to the water main break.
Residents should expect repairs to take several hours.
