DARTMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A man was arrested on Sunday evening after police say he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., an officer said he stopped a Dodge pickup truck on Route 24 for motor vehicle violations. The driver, a 26-year-old man of Assonet, was allegedly found to be impaired by alcohol.
Police say that the driver was found to be in possession of several open and unopened bottles of liquor, including 42 opened "nip" bottles of vodka.
The driver was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and possession of open containers of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
