FITCHBURG, Mass. — The man charged in a frightening road rage incident that was caught on camera in Fitchburg was released after a danergousness hearing Thursday.

Michael Bryce, 53, of Leominster, faces several charges that include assault with a deadly weapon after video showed him jumping from his truck, approach a vehicle and begin to punch the window and scream profanities with a little girl in the back seat.
“He had bumped me, I don't know which side, he was trying to run me off the road. Either way I said I have to get this guy's license plate,” Kyle Dooling told Boston 25 News. "I didn't think he was going to jump out the car and attack the car like that. And punch the window that my daughter was sitting in, you know?"
Dooling recorded the entire encounter on his cell phone.

Dooling’s daughter, Mackenzie, said she was scared during the Wednesday afternoon incident.
“He punched our car, and again, and again, and again. A hundred times,” she said.
The video was posted on Facebook page focused on Fitchburg, and after seeing the video police said they were able to identify Bryce as the suspect.
“As a reminder to all motorists, the City of Fitchburg has a zero tolerance policy regarding aggressive driving behavior,” the Fitchburg Police Department said in a Facebook post.
Bryce was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property and with operating to endanger.
After the dangerousness hearing, Bryce quickly left court after posting bond.
