Man arrested for selling cocaine out of pizzeria window

MALDEN, Mass. — A local pizza joint employee was selling cocaine with his pies, according to Malden police.

Detectives had been investigating Verdone’s Pizza on Eastern Avenue in Malden and obtained a search warrant for the business.

When police went in, they say they found a customer who had just bought drugs at the counter. They searched the store and found powdered cocaine, a test tube and crack cocaine rocks among the store’s ingredients.

Patrick Richardson, 46, was arrested and charged with selling drugs.
