LONDONDERRY, N.H. — A woman and her son have been found safe in Medford, Massachusetts after they disappeared Friday in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

Police say 3-year-old Anthony Nicolosi was in his biological mother's custody "in defiance of a court order issued in the 10th Circuit Court — Family Division — Derry granting full custody to the child's biological father."

"We're concerned to the extent that Malinda is purposefully and willfully avoiding the order," said Londonderry Police Chief Patrick Cheetham.

Medford police confirmed that Nicolosi was in custody at the Medford Police Department Wednesday morning, and her son was safe.

According to police, the boy's mother, 46-year-old Malinda Nicolosi, had been last seen with her son in Londonderry on Nov. 1 and is believed to be in the New Hampshire or Massachusetts area.
