FARMINGTON, N.H. — A woman was killed in a house fire in Farmington, New Hampshire on Saturday evening.
Around 11:33 p.m., members of the Farmington fire and police departments responded to a 911 call of a fire at home on Leary Lane in Farmington.
On arrival, crews found the home actively on fire. Firefighters attempted to locate occupants inside the home.
A short time later, an adult female was located deceased inside. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.
An autopsy is scheduled for today to determine cause and manner of death.
The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
