Water main break in Duxbury leads to temporary closure of Alden Street

DUXBURY, Mass. — A water main has broken in the town of Duxbury, leading to the temporary closure of Alden Street.

“[Duxbury Fire Department] is on scene and the water department has been notified.” The department wrote on Facebook.

The fire department also noted that due to the water main break, water in the surrounding area maybe discolored.

There is no word at this time when repair might be finished or when the street will be open.
