BOSTON, Mass. — A box truck struck a bridge on the eastbound side of Soldiers Field Road Friday morning, causing traffic delays.
Video from the scene shows a Penske truck wedged under the bridge, with metal debris scattered across both the right and left lanes.
According to state police, at around 5:45 a.m. officers responded to the BU Bridge overpass on Soldiers Field Road East by the Boston University Road Exit.
Traffic was diverted off of Soldier’s Field Rd. at Cambridge Street for some time.
Around 7:01 am, the truck was towed off the roadway, and the road was reopened.
There are no injuries to report.
