Two people are dead after a crash on a major Massachusetts highway that completely shut down the flow of traffic on Monday afternoon.
Massachusetts State Police troopers responded to a multi-car crash on I-290 East in Marlborough late Monday afternoon.
A state police spokesperson tells Boston 25 that two people in the crash have died from their injuries suffered in the crash.
The roadway has been completely shut down at Exit 30 near Solomon Pond Road so first responders can access the scene and treat the people in the crash.
