EXETER, N.H. — A 25-year-old Raymond man was killed in a single motorcycle crash on Route 101 in Exeter on Sunday morning, state police said.
Kiel Forgitano lost control of his Aprilia motorcycle and veered off the roadway, struck a tree and suffered life-threatening injuries, state police said. He was taken by ambulance to Exeter Hospital where he later died.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:19 a.m. Sunday on Route 101 west at Exit 9, state police said.
A preliminary investigation found that the cause of the crash appears to be excessive speed, however all aspects of this case remain under investigation, state police said.
Troopers were assisted on scene by the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit and by Exeter Police and Fire.
