State Police investigating serious crash on Route 1 in Sharon

SHARON, Mass. — State and local police are investigating a serious crash on Route 1 South in Sharon.

Images from Sky 25 showed at least three vehicles involved, including a tractor-trailer, an SUV and pickup truck.

The crash happened in a very busy area of Route 1, where traffic from I-95 south merges with Route 1 south, and drivers from Route 1 south access exits to both I-95 south and I-95 north. That exit from I-95 south to Route 1 also leads to Gillette Stadium.
