ACTON, Mass. — Authorities are attempting to find a 17-year-old after two people were found dead inside a home in Acton on Tuesday night.
Acton police were called to a home on Martha Lane around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday night after a family member requested a well-being check.
Officers found two people, a woman and a teenage boy, dead inside, DA Marian Ryan said in a press conference. Neither victim was immediately identified and Ryan says the cause of their deaths is under investigation.
Ryan also detailed that investigators are searching for a 2nd teen who was living at the home, 17-year-old Arjun Aravind. His whereabouts were unknown Tuesday night.
Aravind may be driving the female victim’s 2014 Green Honda Accord with the license plate of 34PD94, according to Ryan.
Aravind is described as 6′2″ and weighs around 180 pounds.
Anybody with any information about the incident or Aravind’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
Residents in Acton should expect an increased police presence.
Ryan also revealed that police activity at a Hudson shopping plaza was tied to the investigation simultaneously underway in Acton.
Several police cruisers helped block off the entranceway to the neighborhood, and yellow tape could be seen surrounding one of the houses on the small roadway.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
