BOSTON — ROXBURY, Mass – In all three people were shot Monday in what investigators says may be a domestic violence case.
“My man was attacked by an out of control lover… domestic violence,” said one neighbor who declined to give his name.
Boston Police say 2 women and 1 man were found when officers responded to 34 Schuyler Street.
“The man was pronounced deceased on scene,” said Boston Police Deputy Superintendent James Miller.
It’s unclear how or why this unfolded but it took place just before 2:30PM in a busy neighborhood.
Suffolk County District Attorney Rachel Rollins confirming this appears to be domestic violence.
“We are just here to support the Boston Police in what Appears possibly to be a domestic incident,” said D.A. Rollins.
Former Boston City Councilor and mayoral candidate Tito Jackson lives on this street. He returned to find it blocked off with crime scene tape.
“This is crazy you know I grew up on the street my whole life I’ve lived here my whole life it’s the Monday after Christmas,” said Jackson.
At once point, a huge police presence filled the neighborhood and a SWAT team also responded entering the residence at 34 Schuyler Street.
“Often times swipe team will help us with searching the sweeping the units of a residence that we feel might be a danger,” said Superintendent Miller.
However, the swat team left the home with no suspect Boston Police say they’re are not looking for anyone. Right now t’s unclear what role the man killed played in this suspected case of domestic violence.
“Our Preliminary investigation shows that this looks like an isolated incident and there’s no concern for the neighborhood at this point,” said Superintendent Miller.
Both Boston Police and the DA say Trauma Teams were called in to offer support to people who live in the neighborhood.
