DEDHAM, Mass. — The district attorney has identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car on Route 1 in Dedham late Tuesday night.
Stephen P. Hogan, 49, of Nashua, New Hampshire, died after he was fatally struck by a Nissan Altima while crossing the road in the vicinity of Route 1 and Elm Street in Dedham.
The matter remains under investigation by the Dedham Police Department, State Police, and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, the district attorney said.
Officials say the driver spoke with officers on scene before being transported to the hospital as a precaution.
