One seriously injured in two-car crash on I-495 in Franklin

One person was taken to the hospital after a two-car crash in Franklin on Tuesday evening.

Shortly before 5:00 p.m., Massachusetts State Police responded to a two-car crash on Interstate 495, South near mile marker 43 in Franklin.

According to state police, one person was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The roadway was temporarily shut down before reopening around 6:35 P.M.
