One person injured after suspected road rage incident in Hingham, police say

HINGHAM, Mass. — The Hingham Police Department is investigating after a person was injured following a road rage incident.

The incident occurred on Route 228 near the Hingham Public Library, where police say a road rage incident led to one person firing shots at another driver.

“We are not looking for any armed suspects and this area and Library is safe,” the Hingham Police Department wrote on X.

Hingham police say that the person injured was not shot and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A firearm was also recovered.

Police are investigating the incident at this time.
