NASHUA,NH — One person is dead and multiple others are injured after a crash in Nashua, New Hampshire.
According to police, on August 5 around 2:36 p.m., officers responded to the area of 426 Amherst Street for the report of a motor vehicle accident with injury.
Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles, a Honda Civic, and a Jeep Wrangler, in the eastbound lane of travel, had a head-on collision.
The operator of the Honda was pronounced dead on the scene from injuries she sustained.
The passenger in the Honda along with all of the occupants of the Jeep were transported to local hospitals for treatment for their injuries.
According to witnesses and evidence collected at the scene, the operator of the Honda Civic had driven over the median on Amherst Street and into oncoming traffic, subsequently striking the Jeep Wrangler head-on, police say.
No cause of the accident has been determined and an investigation is ongoing.
