RINDGE, N.H. — A store clerk was attacked and robbed Friday night in Rindge, New Hampshire, police say.
Rindge Police arrived on scene around 9:39 p.m. after a report of gunshots and two men running from the store with an injured man inside. Police say that two masked men went into the store wearing dark clothes and then jumped the counter and attacked the store clerk. He was injured, including a stab wound to his abdomen, police say.
One of the assailants was wielding a knife while the other had a handgun. During the attack, money was stolen from the store. The clerk shot at the two suspects as they fled the scene. New Hampshire State Police K9 tracked the area but it didn’t provide any substantial information, police say.
The victim was transported to Henry Heywood Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
