Threat made against Lexington High School deemed ‘non-credible,’ officials say

LEXINGTON, Mass. — Authorities investigated a threat made against a local high school Friday morning.

Officers responding to a voicemail threat made against the Lexington High School LABBB program thoroughly searched the building and found no evidence to support the threat, according to town officials.

Investigators say the person who called in the threat was out of state and was not in a position to do any harm.

“At this time we consider this a non-credible threat, and at no time were any of the students or staff in any danger,” the town wrote in a social media post.

The matter still remains under investigation by police.
