WALTHAM, Mass. — Waltham Police are investigating a pedestrian struck by a work van on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at 11:20 a.m. in the area of 110 Columbus Avenue. A middle aged man in his 60′s suffered a serious chest injury.
Boston Medflight was called to the scene to transport the victim to a Boston hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

There were no other injuries reported. The operator of the van stopped on scene and it is unclear if they will face any charges.
