QUINCY, Mass. — Actor Matt Damon was spotted Wednesday trying to climb through a bar window as production on a new movie he’s featured in shifted from Boston to the South Shore.

Video shared with Boston 25 News showed the Cambridge native scaling a small stone wall outside Malachy’s Saloon on Granite Street and climbing through a window that appeared to be held open by Casey Affleck, who is starring alongside Damon in “The Instigators.”

Bova’s, which is known for it’s 24/7 service, was closed for a week to allow for the movie shoot.

The Instigators, an Apple Original film, “follows two thieves who go on the run with the help of one of their therapists after a robbery goes awry,” Deadline reported.

Damon and Affleck have been spotted filming around Boston in recent days, including Bova’s Bakery in the North End, a Boston Fire Department station on Cambridge Street, and at Faneuil Hall and Boston City Hall Plaza.
