BOSTON — A man suffered life-threatening injuries after police say he was hit over the head with a bottle in Dorchester.

The incident occurred just after 7 p.m. on Belden Street.

Broken glass from that bottle was strewn across the street and surrounded by evidence markers. There was also blood spattered across the road.
